Built by Australian gamers, for the Australian gaming community — since 2018.
GameTurbine was founded in Melbourne in 2018 by a group of five passionate gamers who were frustrated by the lack of locally relevant, unbiased game coverage for Australian players. International outlets rarely accounted for server latency, AU-specific release schedules, or the grassroots esports scene that was quietly thriving across the country.
Starting as a small blog run out of a shared apartment in Fitzroy, GameTurbine quickly grew into a trusted editorial platform. Today, our team of 18 writers, analysts, and tournament correspondents covers everything from indie releases to AAA blockbusters, from local LAN events to national championships.
We operate independently — no publisher funding, no sponsored review scores. Every rating we publish is earned through genuine playtime and honest assessment.
